Muhammad tells Muslims to impregnate captive women!

Probably one of the more difficult areas of Muhammad's character concerns his almost complete apathy towards captive women. After battle campaigns, the women captives were given to Muhammad's men, who were permitted to have sex with them and impregnate them. The Qur'an (Surahs 4:24 and 33:50) permits Muslims to have any women which 'their right hand possesses' (i.e. captives from war). Sahih Bukhari 3:432 and 718, and Sahih Muslim 2:3371, and 3432 as well as Abu Dawud 2:2167 refer to the fact that Muhammad's men were concerned that they not impregnate these women, so they asked Muhammad if they should practice 'coitus interruptus' (withdrawing the male sexual organ before emission of semen to avoid conception). He said not to worry as every soul which was to be born will be born. In Abu Dawud 2:2150 it mentions that the companions were reluctant to have intercourse with the female captives in the presence of their husbands. But Muhammad cleared up their problem by quoting Surah 4:24 which stipulates that all captives were legitimate for them to impregnate. It seems that the companions of Muhammad had more of a conscience than Muhammad himself, as he had none of the concerns for these women that his men had. When we look at modern examples, we need look no further than the Ottoman Empire's treatment of the Armenian women during the genocide of 1915, and the sacking and burning of Armenian quarter, coupled with marching the Christian Armenians into the sea, in the city of Izmir in 1922.
