The Apostle Paul called the Old Covenant, based on the law, the “ministry of condemnation” (2 Corinthians 3:9), which has such a lesser glory than the covenant in Christ Jesus we can experience today. For much of the New Testament, the Apostles had to bring the body of Christ out of law-based thinking and living, so they could experience the ministry of righteousness, founded on the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of Father God.
I realized I was listening to the wrong ministry. I was sitting under a religious framework that was still keeping me in performance-based Christianity with perfectionistic undertones. One day I realized, “I need to listen to a new ministry!”
