One of the most fascinating details in Isaiah's prophecy is not just that the Messiah would suffer and die.
It's that He would be associated with both the wicked and a rich man.
Jesus was crucified between criminals, fulfilling the first part. Then, after His death, a wealthy man named Joseph of Arimathea stepped forward, took Jesus' body, wrapped it in clean linen, and placed Him in his own new tomb.
Think about the contrast.
Jesus dies in public shame, treated like a criminal. Yet He is buried with unexpected honor in the tomb of a rich man.
Hundreds of years before Jesus was born, Isaiah described details that would later unfold in remarkable ways.
