A tiny 1,000 year old bronze wheel cross pendant was found in Brandenburg, Germany, and it may change what we know about early Christianity in that region. What makes this discovery so interesting is that the cross appears to match a mold found decades earlier in Berlin Spandau, about 45 miles away. That means this may not have been just one random Christian artifact. It may show that people were making, wearing, and spreading Christian symbols in this region earlier than many people thought. This discovery gives us a small but powerful glimpse into how Christianity moved through Germany, especially in areas connected to Slavic populations and early medieval Christian influence.
