A lot of Christians get stuck asking questions like:
"Do I need to be baptized to be saved?"
"When exactly am I saved?"
"When does the Holy Spirit enter me?"
Those are important questions, but sometimes people become so focused on the details that they never take the next step in their faith.
The Bible gives us a simple starting point.
Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."
Notice it doesn't say a floodlight.
God's Word often guides us one step at a time. Just like a lamp in the darkness, it gives enough light for the next step, then the next step, and then the next.
You do not need to have every answer before you begin reading Scripture. Start reading. Pray for wisdom. Trust God with the next step.
