Scientists have discovered preserved soft tissues, collagen, blood vessel-like structures, and other biomolecules in some dinosaur fossils. What does that mean? From a biblical creation perspective, these findings are exactly the kind of evidence many creationists would expect if dinosaurs were created by God, lived alongside early humanity according to that view, and were rapidly buried during a global Flood. Rapid burial is one mechanism often proposed to help explain unusual preservation. At the same time, it's important to note that most paleontologists interpret these discoveries differently. They generally argue that specific chemical and environmental processes can preserve certain biological molecules over very long periods without requiring a young Earth.
