Two hours in rehearsal. Ten minutes in the Word.
Then you wonder why your worship feels empty.
Here’s the truth worship leaders don’t want to hear: You know every Elevation song. Every Bethel track. Every Maverick City chord progression.
But when’s the last time you sat with Scripture for as long as you sat in rehearsal?
You’re building your entire ministry on borrowed songs about borrowed encounters with a Jesus you’re only meeting through other people’s lyrics.
What happens when the trends shift? When the songs change? When the sound you built on becomes outdated?
Your foundation crumbles. Because it was never built on the Word. It was built on worship about the Word.
The congregation doesn’t need another worship leader who knows how to run the latest song. They need someone who knows the Word. Someone who’s sat with Scripture until it changed them. Someone who’s encountered Jesus for themselves.
That’s the gap. Between platform and presence. Between performance and encounter. Between singing about Him and actually knowing Him.
You can’t give what you don’t have. You can’t lead people to a Jesus you don’t know. You can’t sing the Word if you’ve never eaten it.
Every Tuesday at 7:30pm GMT, worship leaders from around the world gather to study Revelation together. Not to perform. Not to network. To eat the scroll. To encounter the Jesus we’re singing about.
12 months in Revelation. Deep. Transformative. For worship leaders who are tired of performing and ready to be changed by the Word.
We’ve started. You can still join us.
