This Is Why Your Congregation Won't Sing Your New Songs

You put the melody and the hook into the room and give the congregation a way to respond from day one. Week two is reinforcement. You deepen the familiarity without overwhelming them and let call and response carry the chorus. Week three is ownership. You do less, you step back, and you let the congregation carry the sound until the song belongs to them.
