This Is Why You Close The App Feeling Smaller

I came second every sports day, every year, to the same girl. I joined the club. I trained Tuesdays and Thursdays. And I still came second. It took me years to work out why. I wasn't running my race. I was running hers.
This one is about comparison, and specifically about how quiet it is. It doesn't feel like sin. It feels like research. It feels like studying. You tell yourself you're learning, and some of it is true, but somewhere in the scroll the studying turns into measuring, and the measuring turns into a verdict about you.
In this video I cover what comparison actually steals from you, your ear, your timing, and your joy in other people. And I give you the three questions I ask myself every time I catch myself measuring, plus one exercise you can do today with a pen and a piece of paper.
If you lead worship, sing, teach, or carry anything you didn't ask for, this is for you.
New videos every Tuesday and Thursday. Tuesdays are skills. Thursdays are theology. Subscribe so you don't miss them.
