The Spirit is not your rehearsal. I had to learn that the hard way. The first time around I used the anointing as an excuse to be underprepared. I told myself the Spirit would carry what I had not practiced. He did not. And the gap between what I believed and what I had actually built was visible to everyone in the room. Excellence is not the opposite of anointing. Laziness is. If I started today I would learn my instrument on purpose. I would learn my voice. I would learn how to build a set that breathes, how to choose a key the room can actually sing, how to lead a transition without killing the moment. Work done well is worship.
