This is the FIRST time incarcerated mothers inside Federal Prison Camp Alderson traded prison uniforms for Easter dresses to reunite with their children. In partnership with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, 23 mothers embraced their children, some for the very FIRST time, and many after more than 3 years apart. For these children, this moment was different… they didn’t just see their mother incarcerated they saw her in a beautiful dress, restored and wrapped in dignity.
