The Shroud of Turin is fascinating. It may be authentic. It may not. But here's the truth: Christianity does not stand or fall on the Shroud of Turin. The Christian faith stands or falls on one historical event: The resurrection of Jesus Christ. In 1 Corinthians 15, Paul reminds us of the gospel he preached: Christ died for our sins. He was buried. He rose on the third day. He appeared to Peter, the Twelve, more than 500 people at one time, James, all the apostles, and finally to Paul himself. This wasn't written as mythology. It was written as a historical claim that people could investigate. If Jesus really rose from the dead, then Christianity is true. If He didn't, Christianity falls.
