Five of them got failing grades. The church that received the harshest rebuke wasn't struggling — it was thriving by every measurable standard. This isn't an end-times video. It's a mirror. Revelation 3:20 — "Behold, I stand at the door and knock" — is the most misapplied verse in American Christianity. It was written to a self-sufficient, lukewarm church that had locked Jesus out. Not a sinner's heart. A church. A successful one. The city of Laodicea didn't need outside help. They rebuilt after a catastrophic earthquake with their own money, their own doctors, their own textile industry. Their church was built the same way — efficient, well-resourced, and working fine without God. The question isn't whether a church like that exists today.
