You slept. You rested. You took the weekend off. And somehow you're still exhausted. That's not laziness — it's something ancient.
There are two Greek words buried in Matthew 11 that completely change what Jesus was actually offering. And an old Christian concept almost nobody talks about anymore that describes what millions of people are feeling right now with terrifying accuracy.
The word translated "weary" in Matthew 11:28 is kopiaō — exhausted from hard labor, worn down from carrying something heavy for too long. And when Jesus says "my yoke is easy," the word chrestos doesn't mean effortless. It means well-fitting.
You're not tired because you're failing. You're tired because you're wearing the wrong yoke.
In this video: the Greek words hidden in Matthew 11, the ancient concept of acedia — a restless spiritual exhaustion the early church recognized long before social media — and the real question underneath all of it: Whose yoke are you wearing?
If this lands with you, share it with someone who's been running on empty.
Find Jesus. Fight culture. Spread the good news.
