Our emotions are real. They matter. But they are not meant to lead our lives. Most of us know what it feels like when anger lingers. When something small produces something big inside of us. When frustration turns into something deeper. Instead of reacting, what if we invited the Holy Spirit in? “God, am I thinking about this wrong? Why is this causing so much anger in me? Where is this really coming from?” Some anger does not need to be expressed. It needs to be searched. Before it becomes fruit, let God deal with the root.
