Let’s not back down! Let’s remain unashamed of Christ — no matter the circumstance. Stephen lived — and died — serving the Lord faithfully. He stood boldly for Christ, even when it cost him everything. And in what looked like defeat, God was at work. Stephen’s death became a catalyst for the Gospel to grow and spread throughout the early Church. God still works this way. He uses the toughest trials we face as opportunities to display real faith in a real God. What feels costly or uncomfortable may be the very ground where His glory is revealed.
