Here's the question every atheist eventually has to answer: If death is the end... then what is the foundation for hope? Christianity makes a claim unlike any other. It doesn't simply teach that Jesus was a wise teacher or a moral example. It claims that Jesus walked out of His own tomb three days after His crucifixion and defeated death itself. If that's true, then death does not get the final word. If it's false, then Christianity collapses. That's why the resurrection is the central claim of the Christian faith. Without God, death ultimately has the last word. Every achievement, every relationship, every accomplishment eventually disappears. But if Jesus really rose from the dead, then eternal life, justice, and hope are not wishful thinking—they're reality. So don't start with side issues. Start with the resurrection.
