In Matthew 24, Jesus describes the end times with wars, false prophets, and hearts growing cold, and then he tells us not to be alarmed.
How can we not worry when Jesus literally says we'll face tribulation and death? Why does He keep saying "don't be alarmed" while listing everything that will go wrong? When lawlessness increases and love grows cold, what does it mean that "the one who endures to the end will be saved" and is that endurance really on us?
Watch the full video on YouTube to discover why Christian endurance isn't about white-knuckling your way through suffering, but taking shelter under the One who already endured it all for you.
Contributor Rev. Harrison Goodman is the Higher Things Executive Director of Missions and Theology.
