After His resurrection, Jesus appeared to the Eleven and gave them a mission that would change the world forever: “Go into the whole world and proclaim the Gospel to every creature.” This is the Great Commission—a call to bring the message of salvation to all people. Jesus declares: “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned.” And He promises that powerful signs will follow those who believe: “They will drive out demons… speak new languages… lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Then, before their eyes, Jesus ascended into heaven and took His place at the right hand of God.
