Jesus Warned Them This Would Happen

Jesus gives His disciples both a promise and a warning. “When the Advocate comes… the Spirit of truth… he will testify to me.” The Holy Spirit would strengthen them, guide them, and remain with them. But Jesus also warns them about what is coming: “They will expel you… and some will think they are serving God by killing you.” Why? “Because they have not known either the Father or me.” Jesus says these things for one reason: “So that you may not fall away.” This is a message about courage, perseverance, and staying faithful when the truth is rejected. 🙏 Even in persecution, believers are not alone—the Spirit of truth remains with them.
