Lyrics
Do you sound like the world, but call it love,
Sanding down truth till it fits like a glove.
You never offend, never call men to die,
Just affirm their wounds and let sinners slide.
You quote His mercy but skip His command,
You preach acceptance, and not a pierced hand.
You bless what God warned would destroy the soul,
Then call it “progress,” call it being whole.
You walk on eggshells, afraid to be clear,
No call to repent, no weight, no fear.
You say, “Jesus understands,” but never says “No,”
Do you name the sin He died to overthrow.
You win their praise, you keep the crowd,
But the cross is silent where grace is loud.
No tears for holiness, no call to be new,
Just a Jesus remade to look more like you.
Do you tremble at His word?
Or do you claim His name in vain?
Do you bow before the throne?
Or just posture and complain?
Are you holy, trembling at His call?
Or worldly, proud, and nothing at all?
If your life bears no fruit upon the tree,
He’ll say, “Depart, I never knew thee.”
Some Christians sound like pagans when they speak online,
Same rage, same scorn, just baptized lines.
You know the hashtags, camps, and sides,
You win debates while the lost still die.
You rage at sin you don’t commit,
While secret pride still governs your lips.
You speak the truth, but not in love,
Walking in flesh, not the Spirit above
You trade the gospel for a flag and a cause,
Bold in public, but never bowed before God.
You shout “Christ is King” with a fist raised high,
But alone at home, instead of praying, you scroll by.
Just cultural faith and dead theology,
Orthodox words with no humility.
Where are the tears for the souls you mock?
Where is the grief for the sheep you shock?
When did evangelism die in your chest,
Replaced by memes and political distress?
You won’t love enemies, won’t take the loss,
Won’t follow Christ if it looks like a cross.
