Petition and Protest are Pathways to Intimacy with God

Petition and protest are forms of prayer in the Psalms. Though it may seem strange to us, they are actually pathways into intimacy with God. Pastor Glenn Packiam shares from the end of the book of Job to show how Job is not given the divine perspective but rather contact with the divine Person. We do not get an explanation for our suffering, but we get the incarnation: God with us.
