✝️ The first Christians weren't in Jerusalem — they were in Antioch. Discover why in this verse-by-verse study of Acts 11, where the Gospel breaks through to the Gentile world.
📖 In this study, we pick up in Acts 11:19 as Jewish believers scattered by Stephen's persecution travel to Antioch — preaching to Jews only. But something is shifting. God is moving the Gospel toward the Gentiles, and the transition is unmistakable. We trace the timeline from Stephen's martyrdom in 36 A.D. through Saul's conversion, Peter's visit to Cornelius, and now the explosive growth at Antioch. Barnabas is sent from Jerusalem to investigate — and instead of shutting it down, he rejoices in the grace of God. Then he does something remarkable: he goes to Tarsus to find Saul, the one man with the message for the Gentiles.
