Archaeology Just Confirmed John's Gospel? | Watch Full Video Below | Subscribe

For years, skeptics questioned whether John's Gospel described real places. One of the biggest examples was the Pool of Bethesda. In John 5, John describes a pool near the Sheep Gate in Jerusalem with five colonnades. Critics once argued that no such place existed and suggested John had invented the setting. Then archaeology changed the conversation. Excavations uncovered the Pool of Bethesda in Jerusalem with a layout matching John's description, including the distinctive five colonnades. Does archaeology prove every miracle in the Bible? No. But it does show that John was accurately describing the real world in which Jesus lived and ministered.
