This weekend we introduced Hallelujah Here Below by Elevation Worship, a powerful new song that fits beautifully with the Christmas season and our Songs of Christmas series.
At Christmas, heaven came down to earth. Angels filled the sky with praise, yet God still delights in the hallelujah that rises from broken people here below.
The word hallelujah means “praise the Lord.” We repeat it because praise is not a moment, it is a posture. Even when faith feels weak. Even when life feels heavy.
This song reminds us that Jesus stepped into our world so worship could rise from ordinary lives, not just heavenly choirs. We sing hallelujah because Christ is King and His Kingdom is already at work among us.
