Muslims add Scientific proofs, deny Jesus, & hide beating women (#12)

Murad now looks at 3 quite deceitful translations which are employed by modern day Muslims to divert people away from some terrible sayings in the Qur'an. 34) Sura 71:16 – The word in this verse about the moon in Arabic is “noor”. There is only one way to translate this word, and that meaning is “light”. Yet here in this verse which is referring to the ‘light’ of the moon, the translators have written it as “reflected light”, and not “light”. Why? Because today we know that the light from the moon is nothing more than the sunlight reflecting off of the moon. So, in order to argue that the Qur’an is scientifically accurate, as many Muslim Da’ists like to do, they translate it as ‘reflected Light’, instead of simply “light”, which is NOT what this sentence is saying at all. Sura 24:35 – To prove that they are being dishonest, Murad points out that in this verse it also has the word “noor’ to refer to the “Light of Allah”, which is how they correctly translate it, that “Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth”. So, why didn’t they translate ‘noor’ reflected light here? Because Allah cannot be the ‘reflected light of the heavens and the earth’. So, the translators change and manipulate the text for their own needs, rather than just translating it as the author/s intended. 35) Surah 33:40 – In this verse it says “Muhammad WAS not the father of any of your men”. But in every Muslim English translation it says “Muhammad IS not” instead, which is simply wrong. The Muslim translators have changed this past tense for the word 'Kana' (which means was) into the present tense (is), in order to suggest that it is referring to their prophet Muhammad. Yet, this is only one of four instances where the Arabic word “MHMD” is found in the Qur'an, and it means 'the praised one', or 'the anointed one', which we now know was in the 7th century a title referring to Jesus Christ the ‘anointed one’. So, this verse should remain in the past tense, not the present tense. Sora 4:96 – “Allah is ever forgiving and merciful” is what it says in today’s translations. Here again the word is “kana” which is the word ‘was’, has been changed to “is”, so that Allah can always be forgiving and merciful. But the verse clearly says that this was only the case in the past, not for all times. Once again, the Muslim translators, in order to get out of a jam, change the meaning of the word to help them out. 36) Sura 4:34 – It says in this verse “and beat [your wife]” in the Arabic, and the Arabic word is ‘Dharaba”. But in every translation the translators have changed it to “beat them lightly”. Even one translator, Mustafa Khattab in his translation “the Clear Qur’an” has written it “then discipline them ‘gently’”. It’s obvious that the translators knew that in the 21st century this is a damaging verse for the modern Western world where Christianity is the norm, since because of the Bible we just don’t beat our wives. So, they have had to soften the word ‘dharaba’ to ‘Beat lightly”. Sura 2:60 – Let's see if they are consistent? In this verse God is talking to Moses, and tells him to “strike the rock”, using the same word "Dharaba", which of course means to beat it hard, not lightly.
