Why Christianity Is Different | Watch Full Video Below | Subscribe

What makes Christianity different from every other religion? The heart of the Christian message is not that people can earn their way to God. The gospel teaches that humanity cannot save itself. Because of sin, we could never pay the debt we owe to a perfectly holy God. That is why Christians believe Jesus Christ entered history, lived a sinless life, died on the cross, and rose from the dead. The New Testament teaches that salvation is a gift of God's grace received through faith in Christ, not something earned by good works. Jesus bore the punishment for sin so that those who trust in Him could be forgiven and reconciled to God. The gospel is rooted in real history. Christianity stands on the historical claims of Jesus' life, crucifixion, and resurrection. If those events did not happen, Christianity is false. But if they did happen, they change everything.
