Archaeology Supports Another Gospel Detail | Watch Full Video Below | Subscribe

One of the strongest arguments for the historical reliability of the Bible isn't a single discovery—it's the growing number of small details that continue to match archaeology. Researchers have found evidence that the area traditionally associated with Jesus' crucifixion was outside Jerusalem's city walls during the time of Jesus. That fits with Hebrews 13:12, which says, "So Jesus also suffered outside the gate, so that he might sanctify the people by his own blood." It also aligns with the Gospel accounts that place the crucifixion outside the city. This discovery doesn't prove every claim of Christianity by itself. But when archaeology repeatedly confirms the geography, customs, and historical setting described in Scripture, it gives historians more reason to take the biblical documents seriously as historical sources.
