The maternal grandfather of Jehoiachin, (2 Kings 24:8) the same with Elnathan the son of Achbor. (Jeremiah 26:22; 36:12,25) The name of three persons, apparently Levites, in the time of Ezra. (Ezra 8:16)

- 2 Kings 24:8
Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. His mother’s name was Nehushta daughter of Elnathan; she was from Jerusalem.

Then I summoned the leaders: Eliezer, Ariel, Shemaiah, Elnathan, Jarib, Elnathan, Nathan, Zechariah, and Meshullam, as well as the teachers Joiarib and Elnathan.
