It doesn’t deny the Bible. It doesn’t reject Paul. It simply says Scripture is true—just not the way the Church has understood it for 2,000 years. By redefining what the text “really means,” long-held teachings on sexuality, gender, and human nature are quietly emptied of their authority. Add to that the emotional pressure to avoid sounding harsh or unloving, and suddenly reinterpretation feels like compassion. But not all interpretations are equally faithful.
