Jonah runs from God’s call, faces a terrifying storm, and ends up crying out to God from the belly of a fish. When he finally obeys, the people of Nineveh respond with stunning repentance—from king to cattle—and God spares them. But Jonah, still bitter, reveals a heart out of step with God's compassion. This episode is a sobering reminder: God loves all people, even our enemies, and His mercy always outruns our pride.
