LIFT Daily Prayer: Comfort and Build One Another Up | November 9, 2025

Today’s Verse: 1 Thessalonians 5:11 (NKJV) “Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.” This verse captures the essence of what it means to live as the church—to bring comfort and strength to one another. The Christian life is not meant to be lived in isolation. We are called to speak words that lift, encourage, and refresh the hearts of others. Paul commended the Thessalonian believers because this was already their reputation—they were a church that comforted and built one another up. That same call belongs to us today. Look for someone to encourage, someone to thank, someone to remind that they are seen and loved by God. So today, choose to be intentional. Comfort those around you. Build others up with your words and actions. Keep doing what honors Christ—because a church that comforts and edifies reflects the heart of Jesus to a weary world.
