In Week One of Return, Pastor Aaron Pennington shares the vision God has placed on his heart for Trace Church, the future of the church in Colorado Springs, and why this season is about far more than a new building. After witnessing hundreds of people surrender their lives to Jesus, find freedom from addiction, step into baptism, and grow in faith, Trace Church is preparing for a new chapter. Pastor Aaron shares updates about the future Union Drive location, the sale of the current building to Manna Church, and the vision to multiply ministry throughout Colorado Springs. But Return is first a discipleship initiative. Before God does something through us, what does He want to do in us? Pastor Aaron teaches on fasting, hearing from God, radical obedience, sacrificial generosity, the early church in Acts 2 and Acts 4, and what it looks like to live fully surrendered to Jesus. Over the next six weeks, Return will focus on returning to an early church model of ministry, returning to our first love, living with urgency because of the return of Christ, returning to biblical stewardship, and becoming a church where prodigals can return home to their Heavenly Father.
