Many people think Christianity is simply a list of rules, but the Bible tells a much bigger story. From Genesis to Revelation, Scripture reveals God's holiness, humanity's sin, God's justice, His mercy, and His plan to redeem the world through Jesus Christ. The Bible is a story of love, but it is also a story of judgment, grace, forgiveness, and redemption. What makes Christianity unique is the gospel. It isn't primarily about people climbing their way up to God through good works. It's about God coming down to us. Christians believe that Jesus Christ entered history, lived the perfect life we could not live, died for our sins, and rose from the dead so that all who trust in Him can be forgiven and reconciled to God.
