Is God punishing me with singleness? Is my past sin the reason I am still not married? Is singleness a blessing or a curse?
The Bible says a lot about singleness. In 1 Corinthians 7:7, we read that singleness is actually a gift from God. So God is not punishing you with singleness.
However, God does withhold blessings when his children are living in sin as a way to discipline them. Therefore, it is possible that your sin is blocking God's blessing.
Like singleness, marriage is a gift too. While God will not punish you with singleness, he may discipline you by withholding marriage.
