This video is about some sad news that I got from my OB doc the other day and processing through the information. My doctor explained more to me about Cephalopelvic disproportion and why I shouldn't try a VBAC (vaginal birth after Caesarean section). The doctor helped explain to me that my pelvic disproportion will effect all my pregnancies and births and we would only be taking huge risks that he wouldn't suggest for even his wife if I tried a VBAC. I mourn this information and the loss of never being able to complete a normal delivery or a vaginal delivery. I talk about the limits on c-sections and how I have to plan for a second c-section. All of this is scary because of the traumatic birth I experienced and the c-section infection that resulted from that birth. I hope this video strikes up conversation about birth plans and labor, as our bodies are so strong and each woman's body and birth is beautiful. I am grateful for modern meds which saved my life and my sons life in my last birth!
