Orthodox Substitutes for the Gospel?

All Christians do it -- when we're trying to get people to become part of our church, we substitute things for the gospel, because we think it will work better. They're often good things, but they're not the gospel. The question is not what "works" to get people to become Orthodox Christians. The question is what is *right* in encouraging them to convert to Jesus Christ. So, here are some things that Orthodox Christians in the English-speaking world tend to substitute for the gospel when doing evangelism, and here's what we should be saying instead.
