We carried a cross into a Pride Parade in New Jersey — and the conversations that followed were unlike anything we expected. Some challenged us. Some warned others not to talk to us. One man told us he had been physically attacked by Christians before. But in the middle of it all, a woman who had survived a stroke at 30 years old — who believed in God but admitted she had never fully surrendered — broke down and gave her life to Jesus Christ right there at the event.
