This week we visit the fourth mountain – Mount of Beatitudes. This is the same mountain where Jesus famously preached the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus starts the Sermon on the Mount with eight blessings. As followers of Jesus, we get to live in blessing and in the kingdom of God, not because of how we perform or the boxes we check, but because we are in right-standing with the Lord. “When we see God in light of who He is, it allows us to see ourselves in light of we really are, and our depravity is greater than we ever infinitely imagined.
