What does the Resurection mean for today?

Jesus walked this earth over 2000 years ago – so what can that possibly mean for us today?
For me, it means everything.
In the presence of suffering, the resurrection of Jesus assures that hardship is not in vain, reminds that not only is God good but that He is for me, and testifies to the truth that He has overcome death.
The story of Jesus means HOPE.
