LIFT Daily Prayer: Bind His Word to Your Heart and Mind | September 29, 2025 Today’s Verse: Deuteronomy 11:18 (NKJV) “Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.” God’s Word is not meant to be carried in a box or displayed only outwardly; it is meant to be bound within us. His truth belongs in our hearts, shaping our desires, and in our minds, renewing our thoughts. From the inside out, Scripture is to guide our actions (our hands) and our thinking (our heads). Physical reminders are helpful, but the greater call is to let His Word dwell richly within us day and night. This means opening the Bible, hiding it in our hearts, and letting it shape how we live at home, at work, and in the world. So today, renew your commitment to Scripture. Read it before anything else.
