"Why are you Protestant? Catholic? Orthodox? Atheist?"
Can you actually ANSWER that question? 🤔
Most people can't. They believe what they believe because:
That's how they were raised
That's what their parents believed
That's what their church teaches
They never questioned it

❌ THAT'S DOGMA.
Belief without evidence. Believing for the sake of believing.
✅ WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
Test your own dogmas. Test your own biases. Test them with EVIDENCE.
🔍 WHY THIS MATTERS:
We don't want to be governed by dogma. We see dogma everywhere:
Medical dogmatism (COVID, vaccines, etc.)
Political dogmatism
Religious dogmatism
Belief without questioning. Acceptance without evidence.
💡 HERE'S THE BEAUTIFUL THING:
Critical historians - whether we like them or not - have FORCED Christians to account for what they believe.
And that's GOOD.
Christianity that can't stand up to scrutiny isn't worth believing.
Faith that crumbles under questions isn't real faith.
🎯 THE CHALLENGE:
Ask yourself RIGHT NOW:
Why do I believe what I believe?
What evidence supports my position?
Have I actually tested this against alternatives?
Am I just believing what I was taught?
If you can't answer these, you're operating on dogma, not conviction.
🔥 CHRISTIANITY CAN HANDLE SCRUTINY:
Real faith invites questions.
Real truth stands up to examination.
Real Christianity isn't afraid of evidence.
But you have to be WILLING to test everything - even what you've always believed.
