The Gospel Has No Walls – Warden Paul Kish's Story
The Church of Eleven22
teaching
August 10, 2025
When Warden Paul Kish was first invited to meet with The Church of Eleven22 inside Baker Correctional Institution, he was skeptical. Was this just another program for publicity? Or was it the real thing?
What began as a sense of duty quickly became something more. Week after week, Paul watched God move—men worshiping freely behind razor wire, dozens being baptized, and lives being transformed by the gospel. In the process, his own life and faith began to change.
Today, as the warden of Marion Correctional Institution, Paul leads a Thursday night Eleven22 outpost for inmates, live-streaming services and sharing the hope of Jesus. This is his story of obedience, transformation, and using his position to bring the gospel to those behind bars.
