LIFT Daily Prayer: Thanks Be to God for the Victory | December 18, 2025

Today’s Verse: 1 Corinthians 15:57 (NKJV) “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” This is one of those “every situation” verses. Whatever you’re facing today, temptation, fear, discouragement, lack of faith, sickness, cancer, a strained relationship, financial pressure, or uncertainty about the future. God points you here and says, Thank Me, because I am the One who gives you victory through Jesus. Real victory is not found in escape routes but in God’s presence, God’s timing, and God’s Word, where He often gives the very specific answer we’ve been needing. So today, bring that one thing before the Lord, the burden, battle, or decision that weighs the heaviest, and lay it down with a thankful heart. Choose gratitude first, even before you see how He will work, and ask Him to give you victory in His way and not the way your emotions or the crowd are pushing you.
