Iran Tests Ceasefire, Russia Declares Unilateral Truce, and Clarence Thomas' Tenure #shorts

A shaky ceasefire in the Iran war faced new challenges as the United Arab Emirates responded to Iranian missile and drone strikes. This came after the U.S. thwarted attacks on three Navy ships in the Strait of Hormuz. Meanwhile, Iran has created an agency to control passage through the waterway, raising concerns about international shipping. Russia's Defense Ministry has declared a unilateral ceasefire in Ukraine to mark Victory Day, commemorating the defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II. The ceasefire is set for Friday and Saturday. The announcement comes as Ukraine has been launching drone attacks deep inside Russia. And Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is now the second longest-serving justice in history. Thomas' tenure as of Thursday tops 34 years. The only justice with a longer tenure is William O. Douglas. Thomas will overtake Douglas in 2028 if he remains on the court.
