Do Protestants need an infallible magisterium?

In this video, I sketch a path for how Protestants can establish doctrine without appeal to an infallible magisterium. I argue that Protestants can assign a strong weight to the authority of the church's teaching without such teaching being infallible for the same reason one can trust authorities in other domains. I might also add that Roman Catholics disagree over the meaning of particular dogmatic statements, like Unam Sanctum. Some, like Taylor Marshall, will want to say that generally, it means Protestants are going to hell. Do we therefore need an infallible interpreter to interpret infallible statements? In short, we all must use private judgment, and appeals to authority can function as evidence within the use of private judgment. I hope this video is helpful to you!
