The skull wasn't even found intact and it was instead reconstructed from more than a hundred scattered fragments. And, how could she have walked upright if the position where the spine was connected to the skull was not even preserved among these bones? People had to infer these details while completely lacking the most important portions of the skull to make such determinations. What we have is that one of evolution's most paraded ancestors is presented to the public with a level of confidence that goes way beyond what the fossil evidence can actually demonstrate 😹 These conclusions that support evolution are built upon extremely fragmented remains don't deserve the confidence they're given.
