LIFT Daily Prayer: Day 341: Died With Him, Alive With Him | December 6, 2025

Today’s Verse: 2 Timothy 2:11 (NKJV) “This is a faithful saying: For if we died with Him, We shall also live with Him.” Paul writes this from a prison cell, chained for the gospel, reminding Timothy—and us—of something rock-solid: if we died with Christ, we will also live with Him. To “die with Him” means more than just agreeing with a doctrine; it means that by faith, our old life, our old guilt, our old identity was nailed to the cross with Jesus. The person you were apart from Christ has been judged already at Calvary. Because He rose, you now share in His life, His future, and His victory. Your suffering is not punishment, your trials are not the final word, and even death itself has lost its power to define you. So today, choose to reckon yourself dead to sin, fear, and the old labels the enemy loves to drag back up, and alive to God in Christ Jesus. Ask the Lord to help you live like someone who has already passed from death to life—free to obey, free to forgive, free to hope, and free to endure hardship knowing resurrection is ahead. Bring Him your worries about the future, your fear of death, and your concern for your children and grandchildren, and thank Him that all who have died with Christ will live with Him forever. Walk through this day with the quiet, unshakable confidence that His life is in you, His Spirit is with you, and your story does not end in the grave.
