Trent Horn's Straw-Man Misrepresentation of Protestantism

For whatever reason, my video keeps cutting short--so please give me grace as I figure out Youtube, haha. In this video, I respond to a video Trent Horn put out here. I argue that he misrepresents Protestantism, and portrays the "necessity of works" as the main issue at the Reformation. It simply wasn't. The Westminster Confession, the Augsburg Confession, as well as many Lutheran and Reformed writers all highlight the necessity of works to salvation. This simply was not the issue; the issue over justification was over the *cause* of our acceptance with God. It's over whether the Roman church (or any church) as the authority to restrict the value of being united to Christ, receiving his body and blood, and restrict the merits distributed therein, or whether union with Christ is received by faith alone--and whether than union *itself* is the sole grounds for receiving *all* the saving merits of Christ, such that the guilt of punishment (in either eternal or temporal dimensions) are entirely taken away.
