This lie suggests that upon conversion, you will be more happy, more rich, never be sick, and never face difficult things. Rightly, in recent decades, this theology has been condemned as a heresy because it is fundamentally false. That is not what Jesus promised. In fact, Jesus promised that if you follow Him, you will definitely have trials because of your commitment to Him. For the Christian, our focus is on a bigger truth. As the Apostle Paul states, the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is going to be revealed in us.
